Democracy Alarm is dedicated to distributing news and information focused on preventing authoritarianism and protecting democracy around the world.

Our volunteer "spotters" refer content from popular social media and other sources. But we add something unique.

Every referral also has an associated "sidepage" where additional related information can be found. This might be background, explainers, debunkers, or links to updates or some other content. The sidepage may be edited by the original author, a Democracy Alarm team member, or both.
